This year, De Vrije Student is the largest party in the Central Student Council (CSR), claiming three seats; a historic win for them.

The election week is ongoing. After presenting six faculties our YOUVOTE series is coming to end! However, there is one more faculty to highlight. Somewhat lost and forgotten, we present you with what politics looks like at the Faculty of Dentistry! All the candidates are placed on one common list for Kies ACTA. We asked Bas Bostelaar, one of the candidates, a few questions about this matter as well as what Kies ACTA wants to offer for students.

Given the fact that the UvA’s medical faculties (UMC/AMC) are one of the largest and furthest removed from the regular campuses, the most interaction average UvA students have with the faculty of medicine is when they see the log-in option on canvas. But what really goes on over there? And how are the student parties working to overcome this divide and improve their faculty? YOUvA Today looks at the faculty's two parties in the run-up to the student elections.

Ladies and gentlemen, Elections in the making at UvA:  on 16th May, in the light of the Central Student Council Elections (16th-20th May), the leading candidates of the parties presented their vision and their agenda with regard to the university changes. Candidates were asked to answer questions articulated by the two presenters of the Room for Discussion.

Ready to rumble? The elections have started! You have until the 20th of May to vote for the Central Student Council and for a Faculty Council. At the Faculty of Science, three parties are running: LIEF, SLAAFS and De Vrije Student. We spoke to three candidates, who told us all about their plans if they are elected.

The Economics and Business Student Council (Faculteit Economie en Bedrijfskunde, FEB) represents the department of Economics and Business. The Faculty's Student Council has eight members. 5 different parties: List Sefa, 020, Inter, NewDemocratsFEB, SLAAFS. Four different students: Youri, Mia, Mahmood, Miguel and Filip.

From May 16 to May 20, the student council elections take place, which means you can go and vote! In this article, we present the first candidates of each party––020, De Vrije Student, Activistenpartij UvA, and INTER––who run for the Student Council of the Faculty of Behavioural and Social Science (FSR FMG).

The Law Student Council (Faculteit der Rechtsgeleerdheid, FdR) represents the department of Law and PPLE (Politics, Psychology, Law, Economics).
